"The Text "Concise Physical Education", is a ready reckoner for a post Graduate in Physical Education appearing for competitive exams be it National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC annually or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by SCERT. Hence, the scope of the text is wide. After successfully completing the qualifying degree the students are found wanting when it comes to access to materials for the preparation for the eligibility examinations to get a job in schools or colleges. The notes they might have prepared during their graduation or post-graduation would either be incomplete or difficult to locate. This is where the importance of such a compilation comes in. The syllabus for any competitive exam in physical education is covered extensively. Eight Chapters cover the scope of the exams in totality. Each chapter is sub divided into sufficient sub units. These sub units are followed by sufficient number of Multiple Choice Questions. The text would be of help to the question paper setters too.
